Our B&B in Broadway

This was our most expensive Bed & Breakfast during our trip.  We splurged on one just to see what it would be like.  While it was by far the nicest of them all, it may not have been quite worth the price.  Still, it was a great experience.  We stayed at Millhay House in Broadway.  It is an old sprawling country manor.  There are only three guest rooms in the house.  It has a beautiful yard (even when we were there).  The owner seems to own half of Broadway too!  They own Broadway Tower (one of the local tourist attractions) as well as a riding stable and who knows what else.

I was just getting over my cold at this point, but the breakfasts here were excellent.  There was a choice every day, and had I been feeling better I would have certainly tried the full English Breakfast here.

The only unusual thing about our room was that it was split into two parts with an passage between them.  Read: There was no door separating the toilet from the rest.  We both found that a bit awkward!  There also had been some tremendous rain recently and the deck outside our room had leaked into the dining room below and until repairs could be done, was off limits.

We would certainly recommend this Bed and Breakfast!
