The Lizards of Aruba Where else but on a web page of Mark's will you find a whole section of pictures devoted to some animal native to the destination? Aruba is somewhat famous for its iguanas. We had an iguana feeding area at the resort - a place to drop off the small children. We never saw any iguanas there though. It took us a few days to run into our first one, and once we did we found them everywhere! They all seem to be in Oranjestad, the capital, probably looking for work. A few times we saw a couple around the resort too. |
