The Cottage, Windermere

  We stayed at The Cottage in Windermere.  It was a cute little B&B.  The room was decent but the breakfast was so-so and the hostess was a bit more shy than I would expect from a B&B keeper (although she was nice).  With respect to breakfast, I'm not sure I'm qualified to talk since I got a cold the first night of our stay and so I was NOT a happy camper for our two breakfasts there.  The cold also made sleeping a nightmare (for both of us I suspect), so there aren't too many fond memories of the B&B in Windermere.
