Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Circus is generally referred to as the Time's Square of London.  Well, I suppose it's as close as London is going to get but it's tiny in comparison.  Not that I'm complaining, as far as I'm concerned, Time's Square has gone off the deep end!  The Circus (or circle) is the intersection of a few major roads in London and contains some large electronic billboards as well as the statue of Eros.  Interestingly the statue itself is made of alluminum.  Not what you'd expect!  It happens that at the time that the statue was made, alluminum was not in common use and was sort of a novelty.
